Cafe & Kitchen · Clinton Hill, Brooklyn

Good food. Good coffee. Made the hard way.

Scratch-made kitchen, bread from Balthazar and Native, coffee roasted by Partners. Seven days a week on Myrtle Ave.

We still do things the hard way.

Calyer opened in 2019, started by the husband-and-wife team of Peter Chrostowski and Marta Bis. The proteins, sauces, pickles, and roasted vegetables are made from scratch in house, and the coffee is roasted locally by Partners. None of it is quick, and we like it that way.
